The Somebody Scream Dance Series began with the purpose of establishing a regular Cajun/Zydeco dance in the Baltimore Area. Our first dance was held in October 1996 at The Barn Theater, Community College of Batimore County, Catonsville, MD. with Roy Carrier and The Night Rockers

In the fall of 2003, The Bon Temps Relay Social Club joined forces with the Dance Series and we renamed ourselves Somebody Scream Productions. With the re-enforcements, we are undertaking a major marketing effort to promote Cajun/Zydeco in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This effort includes establishing our own website domain WhereWeGoToZydeco.com and revamping its look. The schedule has been expanded to include events throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and some national events. As a volunteer effort, we are limited in our ability to research all events and so we depend on our readers to submit events for posting. Our main event was held at the Barn Theater at CCBC/CC, which was sponsored by both the Baltimore Folk Music Society and the Office of Student Activities at CCBC/CC. We are sad to say our last dance at The Barn Theater was held July 3, 2008 with Roy Carrier and The Night Rockers.
